The hotel at Hallbarns exceeded my expectations in several ways. the attention to detail was impeccable. From the beautiful and peaceful music playing in the background, creating a relaxing atmosphere, to the Radox provided in the ensuite bathroom to ease away aching muscles, every little detail was taken care of. Secondly, the staff were exceptional. Margaret and her daughter greeted us with warmth and treated us like family, offering tea and cake upon arrival and even going the extra mile to dry our wet shoes. Lastly, the breakfast served was delicious and the dinner was equally satisfying. The home-cooked meals were prepared with love and the quality was outstanding.
There was nothing to fault during my stay at this hotel.

Our weekend stay was lovely. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and we had a peaceful night’s sleep. The location was perfect for exploring the area, being just a short distance from the main attractions. We also enjoyed the delicious home-cooked breakfast each morning. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, making us feel very at home.
While our overall experience was great, we did notice that some areas of the property were in need of a little bit of TLC. The decor was a bit dated and some of the furniture was showing signs of wear and tear.

We recently stayed in a charming B&B in the Northumberland area, and we were truly impressed by the experience. the location was perfect, nestled in a quaint village with easy access to hiking trails and other attractions. the breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a variety of fresh and delicious items to choose from, and the packed lunches provided were perfect for our day trips. But the best part of our stay was the warm and welcoming hospitality. the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel at home and ensure that we had everything we needed.
To be honest, there was very little we didn't like about this B&B. If we had to pick something, it would be that the room was a bit smaller than we expected, but this was not a major issue for us as we spent most of our time exploring the beautiful surroundings.
